He is selected as faculty for TCT Asia Pacific in 2010 and 2011 2012in Seoul, South Korea and a faculty of TACVI
(Training Academy for Cardiovascular Interventions) where he has trained about 300 Cardiologists all over India, south east Asia and middle east.Dr. Amit Bhushan Sharma has done his DM Cardiology with gold medal from prestigious KEM hospital Mumbai in 2007. He worked as a lecturer in KEM HOSPITAL.
Then he worked as a consultant intervention cardiologist in Prime HospitalsHyderabad which is a pioneer of angioplasty done from the hand (trans-radial) from 1st Feb 2009 till June 2011.
Trained in closing holes in the heart from worlds largest centre Bach Mai Hospital Vietnam, in 2009.
He underwent fellowship in complex angioplasty and treatment of peripheral vascular disease in world renowned centre in New york Mount Sinai Hospital New York, USA; from 7/2011- 6/2012.
He then joined LANSING, MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY USA from 07/2012—-07/2013
Where he was trained in Pacemakers, AICD, CRT and Combo devices.
Dr Sharma is first cardiologist practising in India who is an expert in newest procedure of valve replacement without surgery ( TAVI ). He has been trained extensively in TAVI/ TAVR in world renowned Mount Sinai Newyork
Dr Sharma is among the first cardiologists in the country to start the new treatment for uncontrolled hypertension . ( TRENDS) .
Expert in Combo device, Implantable cardioverter defibrillator(AICD), Biventricular device implantation. Recent ACC guidelines any patient with EF less than 35% warrants an AICD/ Combo depending on the circumstances.
Expert in closing holes in the heart without surgery,trained in Hanoi heart centre Vietnam which is the one of the busiest centre in the world . He is the first cardiologist in the country to have implanted largest ASD device 42 mm in the country, video of which is available on youtube.

Dr. Sharma also has passion for teaching and fellows enjoy learning from his expertise, so much so that they awarded him the best teacher in cardiology division in 2009 in Hyderabad. Dr. Sharma is vice president of TACVI ( Training accademy of Cardiac and vascular interventions ) and has been teaching the art of angioplasty and device closures to over 500 cardiologists not only from India but from south east Asia, Middle east and United states.
Between 2011 June to 2012 July Dr. Sharma, was the integral part of world famous The Live Symposium of Complex Coronary & Vascular Cases (www.cccsympsoium.org) and has had overwhelming success every year .
Dr. Sharma took an active part in the number 1 one of its kind monthly live web series, (www.ccclivecases.org), a revolutionary teaching tool in interventional cardiology this live webcast is now attended by >5000 registrants per webcast from 100 countries globally.
